Wedding Memories: Emily and Aaron, 2nd September 2023
We love looking back at all of the wonderful celebrations at The Ridgeway Barns over the past year, and were honoured to be part of Emily and Aaron’s special day. The couple held their wedding over a sunny September weekend and both came to set up on the Friday, including arranging the hand-made paper flowers that Emily had lovingly crafted, filling the room with colour.
After spending the night apart (Emily, of course, had the luxury of staying in the honeymoon suite) they began their wedding traditionally with a church wedding at St Mary’s Church in Purton, before returning to The Ridgeway Barns for drinks and canapes.
The couple and their loved ones enjoyed a flavoursome wedding breakfast provided by @squarerootevents, consisting of delicious beef wrapped in Parma ham, paired with roasted vegetables and chips. During their speeches, they shared countless memories and gifted each other beautifully carved wooden spoons as a sign of love ~ a Welsh tradition.
Then it was time to party! With Scott from @menhamentertainment providing the tunes, the couple and their guests danced all night long.
