Meet The Team

Alex

Alex is the third generation of his family to farm the land at Liddington Warren Farm, where he grows arable crops using sustainable farming techniques, alongside a flock of sheep and a DIY livery.

When he’s not busy farming you might find him overseeing the latest development works at the venue, keeping the accounts in order, or pulling pints behind the bar at one of our events.

Becky

Becky splits her time between supporting Alex on the farm, her teaching career and raising their young family.

Responsible for the interiors throughout the renovation, Becky continues to enjoy adding more finishing touches to the venue. She also supports the garden team with the landscaping and planting. The ultimate host, Becky can often be seen on the day of a wedding helping to serve drinks or see that those little details happen.

Louisa

Louisa has been with us since the early planning stages of the business and heads up the day-to-day running of The Ridgeway Barns, keeping on top of everything from marketing and events to managing the team and ensuring the venue is kept in top condition. She’s normally the first person you’ll speak to when you make an enquiry, and will guide you through your wedding planning journey right through to your big day.

Prior to joining the team, Louisa served 13 years in the British Army, honing her planning, organisational and teamwork skills, and was recently described as "possibly the most organised person you have ever met!" When she's not helping you plan your event, you will find Louisa walking the Wiltshire Downs with her beloved cocker spaniel Kopi or running around a hockey pitch in Marlborough.

Georgina

We're really excited to introduce Georgina, our new Events Manager who will be supporting and managing many of your weddings and events in the months and years to come! Georgina has joined us from a client services and account management background, where she worked across a variety of companies and industries, and has extensive client relationship management experience. Georgina has a passion for the great outdoors, and loves walking with her partner and dog in the countryside and along coastal paths. She is looking forward to applying her skills to supporting and managing your events here at The Ridgeway Barns.

Jess

Jess is one of the newest members of the permanent team, having graduated from Bournemouth University with a 2:1 in media production. She is Louisa’s right hand lady when it comes to all things events, and you will often see her organising staff and running the bar on your big day. She is also involved with various marketing aspects of the business.

Events Team Members

Christina, Mandy, Hannah, Meg, Onnee, Gemma, Sara, Giacomo and Kitty are just a few of our regular event staff who help run the bar and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes on your big day. They will always give you service with a smile, and you may well catch them dancing to your tunes behind the bar!

Joann & Zoe

The farmhouse and barn are kept in top condition by our housekeeping team, headed up by Joann & Zoe. Both have a passion for the outdoors and a keen eye for detail, and will ensure everything is looking fabulous for your big day!

Jonathan

Jonathan has been tending to the grounds since the garden was re-landscaped in 2021. He has a knack for keeping the roses in glorious bloom for over six months of the year, and can often be found bedding new plants.

Emma

Bookkeeper Emma keeps us on track with the finances!

Callum

Whether it's driving the combine, herding sheep or conducting maintenance, Callum can normally be found around the farm. He's helped with so many different aspects of The Ridgeway Barns, from erecting the estate fencing and assisting with building work to setting up the bar and stretch tent for events.

Rubix and Kopi

Okay, so strictly speaking not part of the team, and probably more hindrance than help, but Rubix (Alex's super-friendly golden labrador) and Kopi (Louisa's needy cocker spaniel) are a big part of life here on the farm! Sadly we said goodbye to Tilly the terrier in late-2023.
