Do you need a space to gather with your team for a focus group, or escape from the office for a few days of team building? The Ridgeway Barns is ideally located mid-way between London and Bristol, just 5 minutes’ drive from junction 15 of the M4 (but you would never know it once you’re here), and with ample parking on site.
We have facilities for everything from boardroom-style meetings, overnight accommodation, a barn to host your conference or corporate event, and even team building days.

For small teams
If you are a small team looking for somewhere slightly different for your away day, the farmhouse is available to hire on a day rate, including refreshments and a buffet lunch for 15. For this you will have exclusive use of the ground floor and gardens for the working day, with a board meeting room, breakout spaces, WiFi and presentation equipment. Day hire starts at £600 + VAT.
For Larger Events
Work or leisure, the recently converted Threshing Barn is an ideal space for larger meetings, showcase events, exhibitions and parties. During the week it can be let on an hourly or daily rate, with or without hospitality. Please see our corporate options brochure for further detail and pricing.
Need a little longer?
Why not treat your team to an overnight stay? With 8 bedrooms (5 of which are king-size en-suite), and up to 11 beds, there is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy some social time alongside your work activities. Why not hire in a local chef to treat your team to a slap-up dinner. Multi-day hire of the farmhouse (including accommodation) starts at £1,750 + VAT. Garden space
The grounds comes as standard with the house. It is also possible to book our beautiful gardens when hiring the barn for events, where you can host a variety of team building exercises on the lawn and take in the stunning scenery.

Access
How do we get to The Ridgeway Barns? The Ridgeway Barns are located just 5 minutes drive from Junction 15 of the M4, so is easily accessible by car. Swindon train station is a 15-minute taxi ride away.
Is there parking on site. We have parking for up to 40 cars in our car park, and additional parking can be made available by prior arrangement.
Is there Wi-Fi available? Yes! There is 40 Mbps Wi-Fi available throughout the farmhouse, annexes and Threshing Barn. Passwords are provided on arrival.
Capacity
What is the capacity of the farmhouse? The farmhouse has accommodation for up to 15 guests (8 bedrooms and 11 beds), and has capacity for up to 18 in a boardroom style meeting, or 24 conference seating/dining.
What is the capacity of the threshing barn? Our Threshing Barn has capacity for 60 (cabaret), 100 (dining ~ banquet or imperial), 120 (conference), or 150 (standing).
Hospitality
Do you provide catering on site? Although we don’t have our own in-house catering, we are very happy to arrange breakfast hampers and buffet lunches (starting at £16.50 pp + VAT, including an excellent selection of sandwiches, salad, brownies, fruit and hot drinks). For larger events we can also recommend some excellent local caterers. Please see our directory of trusted partners for more detail.
Do you have a bar? The Ridgeway Barns is a fully licenced venue. If you would like alcohol at your barn event we will run the bar for you. We can also provide hot and cold drinks. Our bar stock and price list are available on request.
Accommodation
What accommodation is available on site? The farmhouse and annexes are available to hire individually or collectively. The farmhouse has six bedrooms ~ three king sized en-suite rooms, two twins and a single. The Pumphouse is a king-sized annex with kitchenette (can also be set up as a twin), and The Old Stables is our luxury super-king sized suite. Please see our accommodation page for more information.
Is breakfast included? Accommodation is let on a self-catered basis. Breakfast hampers can be provided on request ~ please see our breakfast hamper options.
Entertainment
Do you have a music licence? We are fully licenced for playing both live and recorded music, and absolutely love a live band or great DJ. We also have a PA system that you are welcome to use for speeches and background music.
Do you have a sound limit? Our licence means that music is limited to 95 dBA, which we find is more than loud enough for a good party. We will monitor sound levels throughout your event, and if required we will discreetly ask your band/DJ to reduce the volume. We do not currently use a sound limiter.
Do you allow candles, firepits, sparklers and fireworks. Unfortunately we do not allow fireworks due to the risk to the farm, but we do accept candles (when held within heat resistant containers) and sparklers. We also have a fire pit that can be made available for your event. Please see our T&Cs for full details (available on request).
Photoshoots
Do you allow professional photoshoots?
Yes! We are very happy to take bookings for photoshoots at our venue, and have a variety of spaces including the farmhouse, gardens and threshing barn. Spaces can be hired from £125 + VAT per hour (minimum 2 hours booking required). Discounts may be available for booking over four hours. Please get in touch for availability and to book.
Corporate events are wide ranging, so please get in touch for a bespoke quote. Some example prices are below.

Farmhouse Only
Day hire starts at £650 + VAT, with access from 10 am until 4 pm as standard (but let us know if you’d like longer or different access times). The price includes refreshments and a buffet lunch for up to 15 delegates ~ lunch for additional delegates priced at £16.50 pp + VAT.
Multi-day hire with accommodation for up to 15 starts at £1,750 + VAT, with access from 10 am on day 1 until 4 pm on day 2, self catered. Longer stays are of course possible. Breakfast hampers (starting at £100) and buffet lunches (£16.50 pp + VAT per delegate, minimum 8) can be included on request.
Barn Hire
Dry hire of the barn starts at £125 + VAT per hour for small events (unfurnished, unstaffed), or £1,250 + VAT per day/evening (furnished and staffed). Discounts are available for multi-day hire.
For example:
Two hours barn hire for a yoga/pilates class, maximum 30 participants. Prices start at £250 + VAT for midweek bookings.
Day hire of the barn (10 am – 4 pm) for a conference for 40 delegates, including refreshments and a buffet lunch. £2,500 + VAT. This also includes access to the garden. Additional delegates charged at £30 pp + VAT.
Evening hire of the barn (4 pm – midnight) for a corporate party, including staffed bar and seating for 60. Food and entertainment not included. Prices start at £1,250 + VAT (midweek), or £2,000 + VAT (weekends).
Please get in touch for availability and to make a booking. For smaller/ daytime/ midweek events we may well be able to fit you in at short notice, but for weekend events and larger celebrations early booking is highly recommended. We can typically take bookings up to 9 months in advance.
