Wedding Memories: Lauren & Arthur, 19th August 2023

What a fabulous weekend! Lauren & Arthur were one of the first couples to celebrate their wedding in our newly refurbished Threshing Barn, and boy, didn’t they do an amazing job of it!

After months of meticulous planning and preparations, the couple said ‘I do’ under our beautiful oak framed gazebo, which was adorned with magnificent burnt orange flowers crafted by Izzy @seedandstemflorals. The ceremony was followed by a drinks reception on the lawn, with signature Sloegasm’s (prosecco & sloe gin) and gin & tonic, served from under our stretch tent.

 

Lauren and Arthur had corralled an excellent team of friends and suppliers to decorate the barn, including a hand made arch to frame their sweetheart table, a fairy light canopy from @eventstyleswindon, and even more stunning florals by @seedandstemflorals. Lauren had considered every last detail, from home-grown succulents for their wedding favours, to sandals provided for tired dancing feet.

 

They tucked into a delicious feast of Greek style platters, followed by Mexican wraps lovingly prepared by @vaughans_kitchen and sweet treats including doughnuts from @lovepippin_uk.

The couple and their guests then danced the night away, accompanied by music from the brilliant @MOJOBand.
