Wedding Memories: Emily and Ali, 11th June 2022

Oh, what a wedding! Florist Emily and sports commentator Ali had the most incredible wedding weekend, thanks to their own meticulous planning and a team of top-notch suppliers.

After choosing The Ridgeway Barns as their ideal venue, Emily and Ali selected a stunning traditional wooden pole marquee from @lpmbohemia to provide the focus for their wedding reception, beautifully adorned with a canopy featuring a subtle fearn leaf design. Emily then pulled in a crack team of florists (including @mallowandmossflowers and @blueskyflowers) to decorate the marquee, including a gorgeous split-arch, rustic meadows and two grand silver birch trees to fill the height of the marquee.

 

As dawn broke on their wedding day, Emily and her bridesmaids enjoyed a relaxing breakfast in the farmhouse, then prepared for the day ahead ~ the drinks room was transformed into a bridal hair studio, while Emily’s make up artist made the most of the natural lighing in the conservatory, and photographer @imogenixania captured these wonderful photos in the honeymoon suite and farmhouse.

 

 

After a church wedding in Sparsholt (cue even more stunning flowers!), Emily, Ali and their guests made the most of the glorious sunshine and enjoyed a champagne drinks reception on the lawn, followed by a delicious three course wedding breakfast, expertly prepared by Lindsey Allan and her team. Heartfelt speeches from bride, groom and best men had everyone (including staff) in floods of tears, and a sparkling birthday cake for Ali topped off the meal.

In the evening the couple and guests danced the night away to an incredible performance from Truly Medley Deeply (@tmd_band), and tucked into delicious wood fired pizzas from @pizza_monkey.
